1923 Season 2 Cast Adds First New Character, Name & Details Revealed

1923 has added its first new cast member for season 2. The Paramount+ show is both a spinoff and a prequel to the smash hit neo-western show Yellowstone. Set in the titular year, the show follows the trials and tribulations of a generation of the Dutton family between the timelines of the earlier prequel 1883 and the flagship show, with a star-studded cast that includes Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, Jerome Flynn, Isabel May, Brian Geraghty, and Timothy Dalton.

The upcoming 1923 season 2 was officially renewed in February 2023, midway through the run of season 1.

Per Deadline, Jennifer Carpenter will be joining the cast of 1923 season 2. She will be playing a recurring role in the new season as Mamie Fossett.
